Convoglio Junk Mail Management
- All Junk mail (a.k. Spam) is sent to your Junk folder. This folder is listed along with the others on the left side of the SquirrelMail window. It is a good idea to periodically check the contents of this folder to make sure that only Spammy messages are there.
- Messages in the Junk folder will be automatically deleted after one week. You may delete them yourself, or just wait for SquirrelMail to do it.
- If a Spam message slips through the filter and winds up in your Inbox:
- Click on the message's subject. This will display the message contents.
- In the colored area at the top of the message, you will see a set of "header" lines that start with "Subject", "From", and so on. On the "Options" line, click on the underlined words "Train as Junk."
- The filter will be taught that the message is Junk and the message will be deleted.
- If a good message winds up in your Junk folder:
- Click on the message's subject.
- Click on the underlined words "Train as NOT Junk" on the "Options" line.
- The filter will be taught that the message is not Junk and the message will be delivered to your Inbox (in a couple of minutes).
