In the States, we call them Bugeyes. Apparently they’re known as Frogeyes in England. At least that’s what Andy calls his. More formally, this is an Austin Healy Sprite, smaller sibling to the venerable Austin Healy 3000.

That’s a nice Sprite. After I got back from VN I picked up one for $75. Rebuilt it with an Austin (larger) engine. It was fun and my dad used to drive to his friends up in Santa Ana all the time.
This one also had the engine replaced by the larger, roughly 1.2 liter engine. Riding in it was a real time machine experience.
