Did you notice the subtitle of this blog? Every now and then I’d like to call your attention to something unrelated to travel.
Just about four blocks from my house, a young fellow named Matt Kiser decided to start a daily newsletter that would chronicle the Trump presidency day-by-day. Each day is summarized in a single (long) sentence, then the events are elaborated by clips from various news agencies. The result is a concise statement of the day’s events, readable in just a few minutes.
What The Fuck Just Happened Today?
Perhaps not the best name, but try not to hold that against him.
You can get each daily edition delivered by email at no cost. If you find value in Matt’s work, please consider making a contribution.

Thank you for reminding me about this site. I used to read it in the early days of this administration and then it fell off my radar.
I know you don;’t use FB but Heather Cox Richardson’s posts are a daily “must read” for me. She is an historian who has been chronicling this madness with her knowledge and perspective. She is also on Twitter but mostly re-tweets and does not publish her wonderful synopses there.
