If you live near Seattle you don’t need my photos, just look out your window.

This short post is to show those living in non-snowy places what Mary Anne and I woke up to today. Also to give me something to do while staying in our nice warm house.

Also an excuse to type schnee, German for ‘snow’. I just like the sound of it.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful.
And since we’ve got no place to go,
Let It Schnee! Let It Schnee! Let It Schnee!

  1. Hi,
it looks very nice, indeed! It seems to be more than here.

Since one week we have in Berlin also “Schnee” and very low temperatures, down to -12°C.
I will send you some today-fotos of frozen Wannsee (Lake in south-west of Berlin).

    1. I remember that Mary Anne and I got very lost while visiting the Wannsee in 1995! No schnee then, it was a hot summer.
